So AJ finally won the TNA title tonight. On the one hand, it's nice he finally won, because he's the most popular and (one of the) longest serving member of the company, but on the other hand, they really should have waited 1 month. He could have finally beat Kurt, one on one, at the supposed biggest TNA PPV of the year, but insted, he won in a thrown together 4 man match where the focus was more on Morgan going into the event, at a generic PPV. Thoughts?

Average-shit TNA show, he won the belt 12 months too late with almost no build. Hernandez was made to look like a fucking geek.

Why, didn't Hernendez beat Eric Young in a squash? Or did he try to cash in and fail or something? I only found a stream in time for the last minutes of the main event, then I read the results on a news site but saw no other mention of Hernendez.

I only found a stream in time for the last minutes of the main event, then I read the results on a news site but saw no other mention of Hernendez. After months of building him up to be the first Latino TNA champion, they put him in a match with Eric Young, where Eric said he wouldn't fight back. Hernandez beat him in 48 seconds, and Young didn't fight back. So he comes out later, just before the main event and cashes in his briefcase. So he is entered into the match and Eric Young comes out and pile drives him on the ramp putting him out for the night.... Eric Young! So he cashed it in for NO OTHER REASON then to put over his angle with a mid carder, and all the build for him being the first Latino Champ was for NOTHING!

Isn't Samoa Joe X-Divison champ again? Like what the fuck is wrong with TNA. Joe and Styles should have main eventers a LONG fucking time ago, and stayed there. Aren't they aiming for a title vs. career match at Bound for Glory between Styles and Sting? Well if it happens, we might see Sting joining up with Hogan's small promotion

What a fucking waste. Yes, it will be title vs career for AJ and Sting, but the build has been absolutely wretched, so I wouldn't be surprised if it ends in a swerve or if Sting is provoked out of retirement in an angle. Or he just retires from TNA, if you catch my drift.

AJ vs. Sting is a good idea for TNA's main event, if done properly of course. No swerves, no interferences, no ref bumps, just a straight wrestling match and a few false finishes.

I'm guessing you didn't see Sting vs Joe last year?

I for one am excited for Joe vs Lashley, so long as Joe wins because right now he needs a big win more than Lashley. Sting vs AJ will be awesome, and I'm glad Angle is out of the title scene for once.

No, of course Lashley isn't losing. God forbid one of the youngest top heels in the company beat the guy who is leaving for MMA every so often. Still, the match itself I will enjoy.

I dunno, it depends. I haven't been enjoying Joe's work too much due to him working a much safer style, and he is really good when he dominates guys, in this match, it wouldn't surprise me if it's the other way around. Which will suck because I don't think Lashley can carry a match, and the Joe of the past 8 months sure can't.

I can see that, but I still think it has good potential. Both guys are big guys who can work power and striking, but they both also have good mat wrestling ground-based skills. Joe can also use some high flying, and if they are allowed, I think both guys can utilize weapons decently. The only problem I have with this is Lashley inevitably winning, but hey, it's not real anyways, so in the end it doesn't matter who wins or loses.
