What did everyone think of this year's SummerSlam?
I thought it was decent, but there was some really pointless shit and wasted time on there.
- Rey Mysterio vs. Dolph Ziggler. Great opener, really enjoyed this one. Perfect length, only upset that Ziggler didn't win. I guess it doesn't matter considering he'll be getting next week, but a PPV win, especially SummerSlam, would have been huge.

- MVP vs. Jack Swagger. Way too fucking short. These two should have gone for about 12 and a half minutes, but at least 10. These two are going to be future stars, so having Swagger lose in less than 7 minutes is beyond stupid. Good action for the amount of time they had.
*3/4
- Jericho & Show vs. Cryme Tyme. It was alright. Cryme Tyme did step up their game and put on an ok match for once, but nothing stellar.
**1/2
- Kane vs. Khali. Biggest waste of space on the card. They should have scatched this and given more time to MVP/Swagger or Christian/Regal. Actually, I'm going to go a step further and say we've already seen this crap at Wrestlemania, what the fuck is the point in seeing this again?? If you don't have anything new for Khali, then don't use him. Kane doesn't need the rub.
1/2*
- DX vs. The Legacy. Rhodes and Dibiase are doing a good job as heels. I hate the hell out of them. Although I think I hate Dibiase more simply because he'll end up getting a push even though Cody is the more talented one. Best part about this match though was OF COURSE, the return of Shawn Michaels! I'd rather see him in singles action, but it's better than no Michaels.
Good match, and I'm kind of interested in seeing where they'll go with this feud. Maybe some single matches, like HHH/Dibiase and mainly Michaels/Rhodes? One can only dream.
***1/4
- Christian vs. Regal. Well... they could have maybe stolen the show had they been given a decent amount of time... and even though Regal lost in less than 10 seconds, the way the pulled off doesn't seem to hurt his credibilty all that bad. I still would have rather seen a 9 minute match instead of this shit.
N/A
- Randy Orton vs. John Cena. I was into this match until Orton did his "I'm gonna get awesome heel heat for this" by leaving the match, even though it's been done to death and it's not heel heat. I don't want to waste any time on how much I loath Orton nowdays so I'll just skip to the rating.

- Jeff Hardy vs. CM Punk. Not fucking awesome, but awesome none the less. I'll have to give it a rewatch one of these days to fully grasp the match, but I'm thinking it's in the top 5 WWE matches this year so far. Really happy Punk was in the main event for a SummerSlam, and that he's the champ again. I'm also creaming at the thought of Punk/Taker at Breaking Point, and then Punk/Taker in a Hell in a Cell match. I've been wanthing this match to happen for about 2 years now.
***3/4
Overall: It sucks because there was some really solid stuff on this card, and even one MOTYC, but it was clouded with a bunch of stinkers.
